Or is that Warrington Community Living’s Supported Housing Team?
Ok so the cast of Ghostbusters didn’t visit Park House this week so what was happening?
Our extremely committed Supported Housing Teams donned there overalls to help us prepare for a brand new exciting venture at one of our properties.
Park House is currently home for two people we support. We are redeveloping the property so we can make more room and have the property as a multi-functioning service. This would not only be a regular home for the two people who already live their but we will soon be offering a much needed flexible resource for people in crisis as an alternative to admission to hospital, and as a stepping stone when leaving hospital.
Park house will offer intensive short-term support in a residential (rather than hospital) setting. The house will act as a safe haven or sanctuary and will be supported by experienced colleagues who will offer person centred support.
The team of Tenant Support Workers are so excited about the project that they spent a few hours of their time clearing out the basement ready for the builders to begin their work.
We look forward to announcing our new service and sharing the pictures once the work has been completed.
