The inspector noted that, “We observed people living in the home to be relaxed, content and comfortable within their home environment and saw interactions between staff and people using the service to be caring, attentive, dignified and responsive to individual needs.”

People spoken with by the inspector confirmed the service was effective and CQC received comments such as: "Every one of the staff is worth their weight in gold" and, "I'm very satisfied with the service. They're awesome that's all I can say."

Elaine Granite the Service Manager at Lucklaw said, “The team at Lucklaw are really pleased at the great report we have received from CQC. They have worked hard to develop this service and themselves and they deserve this recognition.”

Michael Sheppard, Chief Executive of Warrington Community Living said, “I was really proud to read the positive comments that the report had included from family members and the observations of the inspector of the respect and care with which the team interacted with residents at Lucklaw. ‘Good’ is great but we now want to work towards ‘outstanding’ for the people who live at Lucklaw, so we already have more improvements planned including working closely with a Warrington landscape company and raising funds to develop a multi-sensory garden this year.”
